Focus on the things that will drive morale and productivity. Empower HR to be a part of team. Try and think about these things:
- Performance management practices that inspire motivation and engagement
- Allow HR to generate process to facilitate hiring, development, and assimilation into the culture.
- Use diversity to stimulate innovation
- Set Up Quantitative KPI to manage your people.
- Develop an organizational chart from your workflow and staff skillsets, do not try to fit personnel into your organizational chart
Even if you do not have and “HR” Department, you must follow the above to drive culture.
